SOCCER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

AFA’s Youth Development Program is focused on developing players from U7-U18. Pre-academy is our youngest group, ages 5-11, in this stage we focus on teaching all the soccer fundamentals: ball control, dribbling, and advancing to first touch, turns, passing, and shooting. At the Academy stage, ages 12-17, we will continue to prioritize the technical development with the addition of field awareness, decision making, and team tactics. Teams will participate in one of the three following leagues: Elite Development Program (EDP), National Capital Soccer League (NCSL), or Montgomery Soccer Inc. (MSI Classic).

Testimonials

"I'm so lucky to have found Coach Toti. He knows how to build a solid staff, his teams, and instill individual thinking and personal growth in the boys. He is a great mentor for my son and the team. He built our team from the ground up into a winning team, but more importantly for me is the life lessons he provides. My son is in good hands." Lee Sobel
